Amongst the countless number of fans filling the venue, the ‘auntie’ fans in their 30s and 40s stand out.

Today, the members of Park Yoochun’s Auntie Fanclub were at the National Cancer Center’s Children’s Ward instead of the concert arena.

Here, they met Park Yoochun and their faces lit up like those of teenage girls.

The members of this fanclub collected 10 million Won in donations to help these child patients and were there today with their star to donate the money.

“Most of our members have their own kids, so it hurts to see these kids suffering, especially since we are mothers who raise our own children..”

These fans previously raised 25 million Won and donated this amount under their star’s name to help the children.

[TRANS] 110208 Park Yoochun and His Fans Delivered Donations to Sick Children, Showing a Warm Heart

JYJ Park Yoochun and his fanclub went to the children section of National Cancer Center and passed donation.

On the 7th airing of MBC ‘NewsDesk’ just recently, it’s revealed that Park Yoochun went to National Cancer Center in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do along with his fanclub members to visit child patients. He constantly gave bright smile while was talking to the cancer patients, furthermore, his fans also donated 10 million won in the name of Park Yoochun. Park Yoochun commented, “Everyone who show their support by donating under my name… For this opportunity I’d like to thank them a lot.”

On the 22nd, these fans visited CereCare Wellness Centre Shanghai, which is a residential facility that offers is a residential facility world-first combination of Lu’s acupressure, physiotherapy and education to young children suffering from Cerebral Palsy.

The teacher there saw group of 20 year old girls, continued to say thank you. The girls told the teacher “We are fans of Korean singers Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, Kim Junsu, because the three of them are coming to China to perform at the charity concert, we want to come and help these children under their name”.

The teacher complimented our boys, “Its hard to find fans like you all, the celebrities you like must be wonderful as well.”

The fans waited until the children were done with class, and rushed in to see them. They chatted with them, and played with them. The teachers there told them about the children’s family situation, and their lives. 4 of the kids here were abandoned. The smallest is a 19 month old baby (the teacher said he was found on the streets T T). The kids here are very cute and nice. They may not be able to understand ours eyes were red, or why we couldn’t help but want to hug them, but I believe they felt the warmth, and felt our love.

I believe with this event, many of the fans will return to see this kids, and bring them more love and warmth.

Coats bought based on the children’s sizes

Milk, fruits, and snacks.

Big cake, and a multi-functional printer.

Food and kitchen appliances.

This is the 19 month old little one mentioned earlier.

The children and teachers.

The environment.

With the principal and the teachers.

Certificate thanking JYJ for caring about these children.

The teacher asked us to thank Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, and Kim Junsu. And gave us these certificates. If we have a chance, we would like to give these to our boys.

JYJ Fans from Malaysia Donate USD10,000 to World Vision

Organizers of KL showcase apportion part of proceeds made from VIP tickets to support JYJ’s drive to end child hunger in impoverished countries
18 October 2010, International: JYJ, who recently kick started their worldwide showcase tour The Beginning has received a surprise gift from Malaysian fans at their KL showcase on the 17th.

Organizers of the Malaysian showcase Marctensia and Redstar has acceded to fan requests to donate part of the proceeds from the VIP tickets to support JYJ’s vision to end child hunger in countries living in poverty. This is an initiative following up to the donation of JYJ’s full ticket proceedings from the Seoul showcases.

Says Mr Hwang Jong Wook, spokesperson for the JYJ Tour, “We weren’t told about this until the press conference and the boys were pleasantly surprised by this generous gift. JYJ wants to take the opportunity to thank their Malaysian fans for the donation and hope that the help given to World Vision could be a sustained one as it is a clause very close to their hearts. Every bit makes a difference and sponsorship through an extended period of time can help keep one extra child alive.”

The tour will continue in Hong Kong on the 24th of October and in Shanghai on the 7th of November. US stops are expected to take place in the middle of November with ticketing details to be released soon.

[NEWS] 101020 JYJ donates $40,000 USD to children’s charities

JYJ has been quite busy promoting and preparing for both their global tour and for the release of their debut album, ‘The Beginning’. Yet despite their crammed schedule, they’ve taken the time to contribute to various heart-warming charities.

It was reported that the trio donated 30 million won ($27,000 USD) from their ‘JYJ Showcase in Seoul‘ ticket sales to the ‘Child Welfare Campaign‘, run by World Vision.

Additionally, while the tour made a stop in Malaysia , the trio requested that $10,000 USD from their entrance fees be donated to Malaysia World Vision, in order to aid the local underprivileged children there.

During an interview with the World Vision newsletter team, JYJ stated, “We’ve always had a lot of interest in donating to children’s charities, and when we heard about the ‘Child Welfare Campaign’, we were very saddened. We immediately thought of ways to help out, and we decided to donate the money from ticket fees as a meaning of giving to charity, together with our fans. We want to do our best and participate in more ways to save children in the future.”

JYJ will continue to demonstrate their conscientious sides, as they are scheduled to perform for the ‘Dong-A Charity Concert’ in Shanghai on October 23rd. Entrance fees from this concert will be donated to the Red Cross.

[TRANS] 100910 '3.1 Tons' Of Rice Donated To Celebrate U-Know Yunho's First Musical Performance

3.1 tons of 'rice wreaths' from fans were sent to the Yongsan Dragon Theater to celebrate TVXQ's U-Know Yunho's first performance in the musical 'Goong'.

A representative of SM Entertainment stated, "The rice wreaths were sent from fan sites and fanclubs of Korea, Japan and China and will be used for a good cause," and "We were very surprised to see that the total amount added up to 3.1 tons."

Rice wreaths that help the needy have recently replaced normal wreaths in the entertainment industry. Especially, international projects for idol stars and hallyu stars are becoming regular sights. However, U-Know Yunho is the first to collect 3.1 tons at once.
