[TRANS] 110217 Kim Wooju, “TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho Created Our 85 Club Community Service Project”
Old Time’s Kim Yooju talked about the 85 Club.
The 85 Club is comprised of friends from the same region and include TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho, Park Sujun, Kim Wooju and Choi Him Chan. Kim Wooju revealed that he is hurt that some netizens see the 85 Club in a negative light.
The 85 Club has fifteen members who donate 10,000 Won a month to the club’s leader U-Know Yunho. The money that is collected is then used to help those in need at the end of the year.
U-Know Yunho is already famous for being an ‘angel of donation’ and Kim Wooju stated that it was U-Know Yunho who created this project as 10,000 Won is not a burdensome amount to donate every month. Everyone in the club participated to give back to the community.

[TRANS] 110217 JYJ Fans Set Their Sights On Subway Advertisements
JYJ fans have set their sights on subway advertisements.
The JYJ fan alliance released detailed plans on putting up advertisements on subway screen doors that included the location of the stations.
According to the released plans, the advertisements will be placed in 21 stations, such as Jamshil, Shinchon, Hongdae Entrace, and Apgujeong over the span of a month starting from March 7th.
JYJ fans have already set up a month-long ‘We Support Your Youth’ bus advertisement that began on January 27th that brought together 120 buses in several major cities of Korea.
Fans pointed out that JYJ have been unable to appear on music programs though they have been staying active through musicals and dramas. They began the advertisement campaign to support the trio who are, according to the fans, having their activities restricted.
The money collected for the project is estimated to have been around 160 million Won and a total of 80 million Won is left after the bus campaign. This amount is to be used for the subway advertisements.

[TRANS] 110217 SM’s Official Statement On Courts’ Dismissal “The Trial Has Only Just Begun”
“The legal battle has only just begun.”
SM Entertainment has released an official statement regarding the Seoul District Courts decision that, “The verdict laid on the injunction filed by JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong, Kim Junsu and Park Yoochun is valid.”
On the 17th, SM revealed that, “SM and JYJ’s legal battle is still not over,” and “The decision laid down by the Courts on the 17th was made only with regards to the injunction; it does not mean that the exclusive contract between SM and JYJ is invalid.“
They continued to add, “We are currently involved in the trial on this issue and a witness examination date has been set for mid-March. We will use only the objective truth and facts to prove the validity of the exclusive contract.“

CEO Baek Chang Joo of C-JeS Entertainment, the agency in charge of managing JYJ, has stated his stance on the diecsion of the Seoul District Courts to dismiss all of SM Entertainment’s injunctions against JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong, Kim Junsu and Park Yoochun.
CEO Baek Chang Joo stated, “I want to send my respect and gratitude to the members of JYJ and their staff who are silently winning the arduous battle against Goliath.”
He continued to say, “I believe this is a victory of truth, and we hope that JYJ’s activities are no longer interfered with on a false premise of a dual contract. JYJ will continue to work hard to show the public their best.”

[TRANS] 110217 TVXQ’s Debut Album From 7 Years Ago Sees Sudden Increase In Sales.. Why?
TVXQ’s debut album ‘Hug’, which was released in 2004, is seeing a sudden increase in sales.
According to Hanteo Charts, TVXQ’s single ‘Hug’ ranked second on the real time charts on the 17th of February. This album was released on January, 2004 as TVXQ’s debut single and includes the songs ‘Hug’, ‘My Little Princess’ and ‘Oh Holy Night’, a song BoA collaborated in.
How is it that the album, which was released over 7 years ago, has ranked at the top of the charts?
Since their comeback as a duo in January, U-Know Yunho and Choikang Changmin have been actively approaching the public through various programs. As it has been a while since their last period of activity and as TVXQ had mostly been performing overseas before then, they haven’t had many opportunities to approach the public through variety programs like they are now.
It seems that TVXQ is planning to take this comeback as a new turning point for the group and hold activities for a long period of time while appearing on TV programs often. They have already appeared on various music programs, ‘Running Man’, ‘Strong Heart’ and ‘Happy Together’. By doing so, they’ve shown off charms that the public hadn’t seen much of before and have also talked of the scars they’ve received behind the extravagant facade of a star.
Though TVXQ already have a large fandom, their honest confessions on TV have brought in new fans. These new fans are probably curious of the birth of TVXQ, which would explain why ‘Hug’ has shot up on the album sales charts recently.
On the same day, the special edition of TVXQ’s new album ‘Why (Keep Your Head Down)” ranked alongside ‘Hug’ and proved that TVXQ’s popularity has not died down.

[TRANS] 110217 “Folding Chairs For 130,000 Won Tickets?”…’Tears Of Heaven’ Seats Criticized
The musical ‘Tears of Heaven’, which has become a hot topic because of Kim Junsu’s participation, is receiving criticism from Kim Junsu’s fans for setting up the OP section with folding chairs regardless of the high price of the tickets.
The musical, which is currently showing at the National Theater, has been garnering attention even before it began showing for the cast and crew involved, including Frank Wildhorn, Kim Junsu and Brad Little.
The show was expected to have explosive ticket sales due to the participation of Kim Junsu, and this proved true when all the shows Kim Junsu is set to star in were sold out in minutes.
But fans, who had focused on nothing but Kim Junsu’s appearance at the beginning, are starting to raise their voices against Seol Company’s seating arrangements as they said, “We buy and buy because Junsu’s appearing in the show, and Seol Company’s been blinded by the business we bring.”
The problem they brought up was the OP section which is located right in front of the VIP section. These seats are situated at the front of the theater and are used only when there is no orchestra or when the theater is small.
Kim Junsu’s fans have pointed out that Seol Company is charging the same price for all seats on the first level, but are being unjust when it comes to seating arrangements. On fan said, “OP seats should cost less than VIP seats or at least a certain distance away, but how can they put a couple of folding chairs in a section and call it the OP section?” and “The VIP section doesn’t feel like the VIP section and neither does the OP section. How does it make sense that the back row of the first floor costs as much as the first row. 130,000 Won folding chairs? Really?” Another fan said, “I thought they already had OP section chairs like the Sejong Arts Center but all they did was put folding chairs in front of the VIP section. Because they made seats that didn’t exist before, I couldn’t see anything from the waist down of the actors.“
Most of the time, the OP section costs as much as the R section or less because it is close to the stage, but its proximity makes it hard to see the stage. But ‘Tears of Heaven’ charged the same price of 130,000 Won as it charged for the VIP section, and as the company created seats with folding chairs, the new seats are affecting both those in the OP section and those sitting in the first few rows of the VIP section. Also, as the first three rows of the VIP section are on the same level, people who pay for the expensive tickets end up watching the show in severe discomfort.
A representative of the production company stated, “We worry that people say think that by charging 130,000 Won for all the seats on the first floor and by not differentiating between the VIP and OP sections, we may look like we’re extorting fans through star marketing but that is not the case at all.“
