[TRANS] 100913 Goong Musical Rehearsal
Korean drama ‘Goong’, adapted from a manga with the same title, was produced in 2006, it gained an immense popularity and was broadcast in Japan in the same year. Particularly, in July this year, it was re-broadcast on Japan Fuji TV and recorded rating that surpassed drama ‘IRIS’ that was broadcast at the same time, continued its deep-rooted popularity. Therefore despite it is being a Korean musical performance, the Japanese fans have no problem in understanding the story.
The 1st act of ‘Goong’ is Imperial wedding scene, the solemn atmosphere continued until the 2nd act where dance battle scene began in a quick development, caught the eyes of audiences. In addition, the use of brilliant LED with sensory-kind of video is very helpful and useful to understand the play.

[NEWS] 100913 SM Artists Bring In 25,000 Fans to Concert in Shanghai

The artists of top talent agency SM Entertainment held their third concert in Shanghai over the weekend, performing a total of 54 songs in front of 25,000 concertgoers.
At the “SMTOWN LIVE ’10 in Shanghai” held at the Hongkou Football Stadium on September 11, Kangta, BoA, U-know Yunho, Max Changmin, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x) and Zhang Li Yin took the stage to sing their own songs as well as crossover performances with each other.
Singer Kangta sang the title track “Remember” from his upcoming Chinese album, which will be released later this month, and Super Junior unit, Super Junior-M, performed their Chinese hits songs “Blue Tomorrow” and “Me.”
Kangta also gave a duet performance of the song “7989″ with f(x) member Sulli, while the singer and the rest of the SM artists celebrated his 15th anniversary in the music industry with a cake and special video featuring his past activities.
“I was surprised because I didn’t know that they have planned this event. I want to thank my fellow labelmates and my fans who congratulated me that day,” Kangta was quoted as saying, adding that he will work harder in the future.
The four hour-long concert wrapped up with a group performance of all the artists singing to H.O.T’s song “Hope.”
SM’s world tour this year first kicked off in Seoul in late August and was followed by the second concert in Los Angeles at the Staples Center on September 4. They will continue on into Tokyo of Japan in January of next year for their final stop on the tour.

[NEWS] 100914 ‘SungKyunKwan’ Rapid Development + Supporting Acts Gives This Week Rating ↑
KBS2 ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ (here after ‘SungKyunKwan’) has shown rapid development with a slight rise in rating.
According to rating agency AGB Nielsen Media Research on the 14th, KBS2 ‘SungKyunKwan’ episode that was aired on the 13th had recorded an aggregate result of 8% based on national rating, rose 0.5% from 7.5% rating recorded on 6th last week broadcasting minute. After its first broadcast, ‘SungKyunKwan’ has been recording a sustainable rising rating that now gives a real full-scale competition with MBC ‘Dong Yi’ and SBS ‘Giant’.

After the first broadcast of ‘SungKyunKwan’, the drama has been in rapid development from grabbing the audiences’ attention that results in steadily increase of rating. Especially in recent broadcast, the natural interaction between Park Yoochun and Park Min Young gave an extra fun to the story. How Park Yoochun behaved as Lee Seon Jun is one of the conspicuous aspect of the drama as well. Park Yoochun pulled off a natural quality that suits as SungKyunKwan Confucian scholar, thus receiving favorable reviews from audiences.

The mini album revealed for the first time new songs such as "Itsudatte Kimi ni", etc., which were sung in front of 200,000 audience members at Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome in June. The DVD that goes with the album is a compilation of the making movies of the "THANKSGIVING LIVE IN DOME" DVD set which was set to release on the same day as the album.
