[TRANS] Rising Star Yunho, A High Motivation to Perform in Japanese Drama

During the first week release, “No Limit ~ Heading to The Ground~” DVD-BOX I and II recorded 14,000 copies sales and respectively hold the 1st and 2nd position in ORICON drama ranking, showing a tremendous popularity of this Korean drama. In order to celebrate this achievement, an event called Premium Fan Event was held at Tokyo International Forum in Yurakucho, Tokyo. The male lead Yunho (TVXQ) appeared at the event, expressed his grateful to more than 10,000 fans who attended.

‘No Limit’ is a drama about a talented yet trouble maker soccer player Cha Bong Gun (Yunho), from his team disbandment to traffic accidents, he met with his agent and has a love affair with her, a kind of comedy romantic drama about a fresh young man struggling for his dream.

As ‘soccer’ was the main theme of the drama, when he was asked whether he’s interested with World Cup which is currently being held, “I watch every game! There are so many broadcasts at night, therefore I always wake up late in the following days (laughs)” revealing that his likeness to soccer.

He also added, “I’m glad that overall, Asia is getting stronger. For Japanese player, I think Honda Keisuke was really cool. He was decisive in the Denmark game, and his free-kick was brilliant.” a comment about one Japanese soccer player was said.

Regarding his first work in TV drama, he was asked to give his point of attention when acting, “When I’m on stage as an artist, people will see my image as strong and tough, however this time (as an actor) I’m portraying a gentle and friendly image. This is a new side of myself, I’m glad that all of you are able to see that,” told the unique perspective of him on acting.

Following his first leading role in the drama, in Korea, Yunho is already set to act in his first musical work, ‘Goong’ in which he’s been decided to be the leading role as well. Therefore Yunho can not be seen only as a singer now, as he already makes his efforts to work as an actor. Probably the day when he will be seen in Japanese movies and dramas won’t be too far away.

Yunho himself stated, “If there’s a chance, I want to make work appearance in Japan. I love some former Japanese dramas and movies, I watched a lot of them. While “MR. BRAIN”, “DEATH NOTE” (06) are my favorite.” revealing his willingness. In addition to that, “Japanese anime is also great. In fact, I love the releases from STUDIO GHIBLI. I’m looking forward to ‘Karigurashi no Arrietti’ very much.” giving an unexpected review.

As an actor, Yunho is expected to have a promising future. The DVD footage of this event will be released along with the soundtrack on August 25th (Wednesday), so please anticipate that.

Yesterday went to Sunao ni Narenakute as extras
The shooting included Jejung, Juri Ueno and Eita
The details of shooting are confidential
The staff also wanted me to keep it as secret.
According to their lines seems like a very important scene.
Yesterday extras gathered at 8am!
It was stated (we should) gathered at 8am, but the shooting only started at around 9.30? Why?
By the way the location of shooting was situated in Tokyo ビッグサイト west hall.
At the beginning was the scene of Jejung and Juri Ueno.
After that was Eita's solo.
Followed by the scene of 3 of them together.
Was shooting in this order.
Although during Jejung and Juri Ueno's scene they were sitting on the chairs
But after shooting, the place where Jejung sat was sticky. (lol)

The following only known by extras.
Eita is a very easy going person! (lol)
When waiting alone for his turn, he always loitering around.
Without following by staff, he smoked while walking by himself, sat with extras. (lol)
Therefore (we were)surprised when suddenly found him at the back or beside.
Does he has the consciousness as an actor? Totally doesn't mind us the extras (oridinary people), really broad-minded!


The following is about Jejung
Working earnestly to the shooting for his drama series.
When the staff was explaining to us, well of course, compared to the staff, our eyes were more fixed on Jejung, who was standing in front.(lol)
Then the staff ridiculed himself by saying 'Look at me~!!' Raised his hands to pull back the extras' attention.
After that Jejung turn towards us showing his broad smile. (´Д‘*)

The final shooting with three of them was long.
Because shooting from different angles, had to CUT for several times, Jejung them had to repeat the same lines again for many times, really suffering.
Extras also needed to repeat the same action, however can look at beloved Jejung, that's not a problem at all. (lol)

During the shooting Jejung and Eita went to smoking area together. (・∀・*)
But Jejung didn't go for a few times, looking from my side he only went there once at most at the later part of shooting. (during the first part of shooting I'm not sure)
Eita really can smoke
Will go to smoking area whenever he got time
Is a very heavy smoker!


While Jejung was waiting for the others, he was chatting happily with Juri Ueno on the chairs.
As if the topics never ended!
Jejung can befriended with co-stars, relieved (with the mother-like feelings~ w)

During the shooting, Jejung only NG once
He said 'I am really sorry!' Very adorable (・∀・*)
Followed by his continuous laughing 'Ah hahaha...', very cute

In the middle of shooting, Jejung as if his belly was itching or what, he reached his hand into his clothes and scratched.

Today Jejung need to continue his shooting until night time too.

The Japanese drama TVXQ's YoungWoong Jaejoong is appearing in aired its first episode on the 15th in Japan.

As FujiTV's drama 'Sunao Ni Narenakute' began airing, YoungWoong Jaejoong became the first TVXQ member to partake in individual activities since the group announced a pause in Japanese group activities this month. Many have praised YoungWoong Jaejoong, who appeared on the drama with famous stars such as Ueno Juri and Eita, for his fluent Japanese skills and natural acting.

In 'Sunao', which depicts the story of five youth who meet through Twitter and become friends, YoungWoong Jaejoong plays the role of a Korean salesman who sells medical equipment. He, who appears in a clean-cut suit, showed various sides of his character such a youth who falls in love and a salesman in a predicament because he can't raise his sales.

He also garnered attention for giving viewers a peek into an innocent youth's heart when he pretended to have taken a group picture wrong in order to get a picture of Haru (Ueno Juri), who he is attracted to.

Fans gave various reactions such as, "It's going to be a hit!" "His beauty shines," and "I'll be able to study Japanese while learning the lines." Many also said, "It's nice to hear YoungWoong Jaejoong speak Korean since it's been a while," in reaction to when he says "What are you doing!" to his sister who causes trouble in the drama.

With characters played by stars such as YoungWoong Jaejoong, who pretends to be a doctor when he's actually a medical equipment salesman, and Ueno Juri, who pretends to be a high school teacher when she's just a teaching assistant, 'Sunao' is expected to truthfully illustrate the lives and problems of the Japanese youth. The show airs every Thursday at 10 pm (Japanese time).
