[INFO] KPOP in Singapore

Not related to DBSK. Here’s some KPOP news for Singaporeans out there. 2nd,3rd and 4th of December is full of events for sure.

Singapore Kiss Me, are you all ready to meet your idols?

In less than a week’s time, on the 19th Nov, U-Kiss will be coming down to Singapore once again (this being their third time being here). These seven gorgeous boys will be gracing Bedok Reservoir for The Kings of Freedom Concert, a community outreach concert organized by Aljunied GRC and Youth Empire, helping to further promote the Hallyu Wave in Singapore.

The concert is in commemoration of the inaugural anniversary of the Hefner’s collection of four slabs of the Berlin Wall being in Singapore as well as to celebrate Singapore’s social tolerance and cohesiveness. The Kings of Freedom concert will showcase rising local acts like Stellastory, Xinhui as well as local bbboys and Salvador Drums from Temasek Polytechnic. U-Kiss, the headliner for this two hour long youth-oriented programme has been chosen because not only are these boys one of the top acts in Korea, they also embody the spirit of togetherness, love, friendship and respect. They have proved that their varied cultural backgrounds (members Eli and Kevin grew up in the States, Alexander’s from Macau) are not obstacles blocking their path to fame, having successfully worked together and coming up with infectious hits like ‘Bingeul Bingeul’.

The boys will be showing a different side to them this time round, showing off their new Beastly concept – a natural progression from their previous Gangnam Namja image in Man Man Ha Ni. They will be performing six songs such as ‘Shut Up/시끄러’ from their latest mini-album ‘Break Time’, definitely marking it as one of their longest showcases in Asia!

U-Kiss will also hold an intimate fanmeet at IMM Garden Plaza where they will interact and play games with the lucky fans. Fans will stand the chance to win an autographed poster on top of the personally autographed album each Kiss Me will receive that day. Some lucky Kiss Me may even get the chance to bring home a momento specially chosen and brought from Korea by these generous boys.

So mark 19th Nov on your calendars if you haven’t done so!

Take note that ticket sales have ceased for only the IMM fanmeet/fansign, the tickets for the KOF concert are still for sale.
