With the second booming of the Hallyu wave taking over Japan, Korea’s biggest music festival, “Dream Concert,” will be shown in Japanese theaters in November.
“Dream Concert” began in 1995 and has managed to attract a 70,000 member audience each year. Footage of the “Dream Concert” festivals will be shown as a movie titled ‘K-POP DREAM CONCERT – History 07~09‘ starting from November 13th. The movie will begin showing in Hokkaido and move on to Fukuoka in a total of 32 different theaters.
Performances of TVXQ, SS501, Super Junior, SHINee, 2AM, SNSD, Wonder Girls, KARA, 4minute, 2NE1 and other popular artists will be shown on the big screen.
More recent footage of the Dream Concerts titled ‘K-POP DREAM CONCERT – New Generation 10′ is also scheduled to be shown in Japanese theaters in January of 2011 as well.
