Kangta, BoA, Yunho, Changmin, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x), TRAX, and other SM Entertainment singers will be out in full force for the SM TOWN concert that begins on 21 August, at the Seoul Olympic Stadium.
The official name for this joint concert is “SM TOWN LIVE’10 World Tour in Seoul”, and is set to have over 80 performances ranging over different genres, over a span of 6 hours.
This is not the first concert where all the singers in SM Entertainment come together to perform and they release an album under the name of “SM TOWN” almost every year; not only to show their deep friendship with one another but also to give the audience utmost satisfaction through the SM TOWN concerts.
The topic of interest for this concert is that it will bring together the largest number of singers in history and what’s even more interesting is that this concert will take the form of a world tour, going to countries like America, China, Japan and more. An SM representative said, “The biggest change from the last concert 2 years ago is that this tour will be on a larger, worldwide scale. The Seoul concert will be the first stage for the world tour and in order to close the gap with the international fans, this world tour was in the plans for a very long time. On 4 September, we will be in Los Angeles, USA, and we will continue to travel to Shanghai (China), Tokyo (Japan) and more.”
In this concert, there’s the special stage by Yunho and Changmin, a fresh collaboration stage by BoA and SHINee’s Key, as well as a duet stage by Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun. There will also be the sibling stage by Girls’ Generation’s Jessica and f(x)’s Krystal, and one can only imagine the explosive reactions.
In respect to what kind of stage Yunho and Changmin will present, fans have especially high expectations. In Yunho’s case, on 27 March this year, he participated in the Michael Jackson Tribute Concert, presenting a flawless stage and gave a stable LIVE performance, showing off his ability. This has generated curiosity over what kind of stage Yunho will present for this concert. With regards to this, the SM representative said confidently, “Yunho and Changmin’s stage is top secret but it definitely will not disappoint.”
Also, the representative pointed out, “SHINee’s Key was BoA’s fan before his debut so he is also full of anticipation” and “Another stage that is worth anticipating is the duet stage by Kyuhyun and Seohyun. As the youngest in both groups, they will use their sweet vocals to present a fresh feeling to the audience.”
The representative said, “The concert will be held in such a way that it is suitable for families to enjoy together. There are designated seats for families so that whether male or female, young or old, everyone can enjoy the concert. Not only did each singer prepare for their own song but they have also prepared other memorable songs and joint stages, to be presented to the concert goers.
