Just recently opening ‘CJeS Membership’ recruitment, the fan meeting will be held on upcoming March 12th at Jamsil Gymnasium in theme ‘A Sweet White Day Date’ and is scheduled to proceed for approximately three hours.

After JYJ’s concert in November last year, it’s been nearly 4 months since the fans were able to meet with the members.

With encounter, attraction (excitement), intimacy, and confession as the main theme, the fan meeting is prepared to be a family gathering to meet their loyal fans as sisters and daughters. JYJ is preparing for each member’s solo stage and there are also sections where they can interact with fans.

JYJ will be performing together with the invited guests, and they’re expected to share honest stories to fans as well.

JYJ’s Kim Junsu shed emotional tears when a global giant praised him on his performance for ‘Tears of Heaven’.

According to Core Contents Media and Seol Company, world renowned musical giant Frank Wildhorn, who is most famous for the musical ‘Jekyl and Hyde’, watched the first performance of ‘Tears of HEaven’ on the 1st and stated, “Kim Junsu showcased great acting skills. If I ever get the opportunity, I’d like to offer him the lead role in ‘Jekyl and Hyde’ on Broadway.“

[NEWS] 101128 JYJ’s First Concert Signals Rough, Chilly Start

Members of boy band JYJ may have made headlines with their departure from one of Korea’s most popular bands, TVXQ, and with their efforts in broadening their fan base, but it seems they will need to work on the basics: professionalism and consideration to the audience.

The three-member group — consisting of Yu-chun, Jae-joong and Jun-su— held its first concert “JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul” in freezing weather at the Olympic Main Stadium, Sports Complex, Saturday night.

It snowed and rained a bit in the morning, and although the weather seemed to get better during the day, it got chilly and very windy again as evening descended.

By the time the concert was scheduled to start, which was 7 p.m., the bare and open stadium was literally ice cold.

To make matters worse, the concert was delayed for an hour, which made even the most devoted fans a bit frustrated.

Around 7:20, the three members suddenly appeared on the stage, thanking the fans for coming and also expressing their condolences to the victims of Yeonpyeong Island, where a North Korean artillery attack took place on Nov. 23.

“We are sorry for the delay,” was all the members said regarding the delay and they left the stage, leaving the fans waiting in the cold for another 40 minutes, some shouting “come out!” and “why aren’t you coming out!”

When the show finally started, which was around 8:10 p.m., it seemed the fans forgot all about the icy temperatures and the delay, as they shouted the members’ names and waved bright red glow sticks in the air in perfect harmony.

The members performed songs from their first album “The Beginning.” The first track “Empty” was impressive, along with the other numbers, as the group managed to put on a great show despite the cold.

Their hands and noses were bright red from the wind, but this didn’t stop them from dancing and running around the stage, waving and shouting out to the screaming crowd. Each member had an individual stage as well, with Jae-joong’s sexy track “Still In Love,” Yu-chun’s ballad medley and Jun-su’s reinterpretation of “I Can Soar” with an orchestra playing in the backdrop.

The group also presented some new tracks as well, such as “Nine,” “Fallen Leaves” and “Mission Make it.”

When the intro for “Be My Girl Remix” came out of the speakers, the crowd shouted even more loudly and followed the groups’ dance moves perfectly. Yu-chun recently posted the video for the number’s choreography on his twitter, and the fans managed to learn the moves and display a memorable flash-mob experience for the three members.

After singing some 18 songs, the members left the stage with the fans continuously shouting out their names. But JYJ, despite the fans who had waited for some freezing 10 minutes after their departure, didn’t return to give an encore.

Overall, the show was fun and entertaining. JYJ’s agency explained that the concert was produced by creative director Jeri Slaughter, who worked with Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera, but there was nothing extraordinary.

Laser shows, fireworks and unique installations have been around in the pop idol concert scene for quite some time; there’s even been pianos held up in the air and members flying over their fans on wires.

The two big screens on each side of the main stage was impressive, but it was not enough for the fans who sat in the back as it mostly offered full shots instead of close ups. Due to the frigid weather, the three singers also had a challenging time singing their songs, which mostly included their signature powerful dance choreography.

The concert’s stage effects would have been a bit better if they went on with their original plan in covering the open ceiling with a specially-made dome, but due to the grueling weather, this plan was scrapped.

Scrapping the dome was not only a regrettable incident for JYJ, but also for the fans as well. The tickets for the concert ranged from 110,000 won to 198,000 won, and concert organizers explained that the cost was a bit high due to the special effects, including the dome. Tickets for a concert held by SM Entertainment at the same venue cost 11,000 won to 88,000 won, a lot less expensive than JYJ’s.

In the end, fans had to pay full price for something they didn’t get to see, had to wait over an hour in the freezing cold without getting a clear explanation, plus were unable to enjoy an encore with the band.

It would have been hard for any experienced band or artist to perform in such adverse conditions, but it would have been more professional to prepare for the unexpected, especially if it was being held in late November, at an open and exposed stadium and charging a lot of money for seats.

[NEWS] 101128 JYJ Held The First Worldwide Concert in Seoul… 35,000 Enthusiastic Fans

JYJ (Youngwoong Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu) showed a brilliant stage once the curtain rose at their first worldwide concert ‘JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul’.

JYJ opened their concert on November 27th at 20:00 at Jamsil Olympic Stadium, Seoul by expressing condolences to the bereaved families of all soldiers and victims of gunfire incident at Yeonpyeongdo island, the members wished a soon recovery while also said their gratitude to audiences who held donation for charity to the victims.

Under the direction of worldwide director Jeri Slaughter, JYJ completed their concert by showing a splendid performance. JYJ successfully lived up their astonished skill reputation without fail. The concert was conducted for about 150 minutes, despite the cold weather that suddenly hit the country, local and overseas fans of more than 35,000 people had attended the venue.

At the song ‘Be My Girl Remix’ JYJ and their fans became one in the performance. A few days before the concert, Junsu taught fans the songs’ choreography through video that was uploaded via twitter, therefore as the song began, JYJ members successfully carried through a passionate stage together with all the audiences.

Meanwhile the concert official said, “The installation of the venue roof structure was completed already, however due to sudden hail fall in the morning, before the concert started we had to completely remove it to prevent any accidents.” In midst of performance, Yoochun said in regret, “We have prepared a roof ready to present audiences the best concert, however in concern to everyone’s safety, the roof structure was removed.” but fans chanted “We’re alright!” to comfort the members’ feeling.

At the first worldwide concert of Dong Bang trio JYJ (Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu), the casts of KBS 2TV drama ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ were spotted attending the venue.

The ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ casts namely Song Jong Ki and Yu Ah in attended ‘JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul’ which started on November 27th at 8 pm. The two people were the members of ‘Jalgeum Trio’ in the drama along with Park Yoochun and their attendance indeed showed a strong friendship among these three actors. The only main characters in ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ who didn’t attend is Park Min Young who happened to have a shooting schedule at the same day.

Representatives of the two actors said, “Despite the freezing cold weather, they made their way to the venue to watch the concert. Eventhough the drama had been completed, they still sincerely stay in contact with each other.”

Today is the first concert of JYJ conducted in South Korea. Fans from China and all over Asia were seen gathering at the concert venue to watch the performance.

World famous concert director/choreographer Jeri Slaughter who is in charge to manage the Seoul concert has planned to build a roof screen with original dome structure on the concert venue for the first time, however due to hail fall since yesterday morning, the ‘concert’s roof’ was failed to complete as in the prior plan.

▼JYJ’s new lawsuit begun after their objection to SM’s lawsuit

Before the review of the hearing

• I, who wrote this review of the hearing, am a fan of JYJ. I have written this review in the perspective of a JYJ fan.
• Everything that has occurred between JYJ and SM is because of an unlawful 13-year contract, SM’s unfair exploitation of their authority by putting all responsibility of compensation on JYJ if the contract is terminated, and an unfair income distribution.
• Bringing in Crebeau Cosmetics as the main reason for the lawsuit is nothing more than one of SM’s dirty tricks.
• I originally had no plans of writing a review. I have always believed in and respected the decisions made by the members of JYJ. However, the reason I have decided to change my mind is because I believe this is the least I can do against the unprincipled actions of those who control the media with their lies and falsities.
• This review can only be re-posted in sites that support and believe in JYJ.

1. SM’s Stance
※SM was unable to submit a portion of their evidence during the hearing. Though they complete all evidence submission beforehand, they had to resubmit a portion of their documents due to a change in the number code on the documents. If evidence is submitted the day before the hearing, it is impossible for it to be delivered to the presiding judge on the day of the hearing. Therefore, some of the points SM makes are points with content, but no evidence.

(1) Background of the Case

• The problem arose when JYJ submitted their injunction and left TVXQ in July, 2009. This was when SM’s years of efforts began to return in the form of profit.
• Before May, 2009, JYJ never raised an issue regarding the contract to SM.
• SM was the one who approached JYJ first in February, 2009 to better income distribution for JYJ’s profit from domestic and overseas activities. JYJ agreed to all the points presented at the time.
• JYJ has never raised an issue regarding the contract other than those pertaining to income, and none of the other artistes of SM have raised a complaint regarding the current contract.
• Therefore, the root of the problem is JYJ’s cosmetic company.

(2) The Progress of the Case

• Problems between SM and JYJ began in May, 2009.
  • At the time, JYJ was participating in the Tohoshinki Concert Tour (4TH The Secret Code) in Japan. During this time, SM received a request from AVEX. The content of the request is as so:
  • A great amount of reports were sent to AVEX by Japanese fans that stated, ‘It is being said that if Crebeau cosmetics are bought, you will get a chance to meet TVXQ. Also, the parents of TVXQ members are selling Crebeau cosmetics in the regions where the Japanese Tour is being held.’ AVEX sent a request to SM to verify these reports.
  • SM met with JYJ, and set forth to verify the validity of the reports.
  • JYJ were told by SM that a problem would arise if the members exploited the name of TVXQ instead of treating the cosmetic company as a mere financial investment. In order to confirm that there were no legal issues, SM asked JYJ to reveal the details of their investments, but JYJ did not do so. A deposition has been submitted as evidence.
• JYJ turned down a commercial with a domestic cosmetics brand (Speculated as MISSHA), and filed an injunction against SM.

(3) Crebeau and JYJ have a close relation with each other

• January 8th, 2009. JYJ attended the investment briefing session that was held in China.
  • At said investment briefing session, people advised JYJ to invest.
  • Fans recorded the event, and this video evidence has been submitted in the form of a CD.
• JYJ were the CEOs of Crebeau.
• JYJ advertised to fans that they were involved with Crebeau.

(4) JYJ filed an injunction against SM because of the cosmetics company.

• JYJ attempted to exploit the fame of TVXQ to develop an unknown cosmetics brand into one known widely across Asia, and to be rewarded greatly through their investments. JYJ decided that they could not partake in the cosmetic company’s business if they continued to stay under their exclusive contract with SM. Therefore, they filed an injunction, stating the unlawfulness of the exclusive contract as a reason, in order to partake in the cosmetics company.
• If the cosmetics company wasn’t the reason why JYJ filed the injunction, then why did JYJ not have any objections against the contract until after their involvement in the cosmetics industry began?

(5) Even after the injunction was filed, SM continually tried to change the clauses of the exclusive contract with JYJ. However, JYJ did not accept these changes.

(6) Problems regarding the length of the contract period

• Both sides agreed to the length of the contract period for financial motives.
• SM has not held back in giving JYJ as much support as possible during the contract period.
• JYJ must carry out what they have agreed to in their contract.
• A long-term contract is essential for stable overseas activities. When BoA and SES entered the Japanese market, BoA succeeded but SES failed. SES failed because they did not have a long-term contract. Therefore, even AVEX asked TVXQ for a long-term contract.
• Also, a long-term contract is essential to overcome the consuming limits of idol stars and develop into artistes. If a contract period is set for 3 or 4 years, the agency can’t help but work to maximize profit in a short period of time. Therefore, a contract period of 10 years or more is necessary so that the artiste can raise his value and work in a larger market.
• SM is currently supporting trainees with ten years of know-how under their belt. In order to construct and run the system, billions of Won are needed as the annual budget. SM is the only agency with such a system.
• SM receive consent from JYJ’s parents.
• SM has followed the rules of the Fair Trade Commission.

(7) Problems regarding income distribution

• The income distribution system is actually in JYJ’s favor.
• Compared to the income distribution clauses of other agencies, JYJ is receiving the best treatment that can be found in the industry.
• SM has given JYJ more money than what is agreed upon for income distribution for album sales.
• There are many instances where SM covered expenses that JYJ were supposed to pay for.
• As SM is a listed company, it has released all contents of its financial affairs and no problems that have found.
• Despite this, JYJ stated that is was a problem with the income distribution, and SM actively worked to collect all data regarding the accounts. Though SM gave JYJ permission to view and verify the accounts, JYJ did not do so.
• Also, JYJ has never raised an issue to SM regarding income distribution and their tax adjustments until the filed their injunction.

(8) Problems regarding JYJ’s supposed deprivation of freedom

• There has not been a single instance in which SM deprived JYJ of their freedom.
• This can be accounted for by staff members who have worked with JYJ.

(9) The immense damages the 2 members of TVXQ (Yunho, Changmin) have incurred because of JYJ

• JYJ turned down a commercial contract for TVXQ with a domestic cosmetics brand that had a down payment of 450 million Won.
• One third of TVXQ’s Asia Tour (4TH MIROTIC ASIA TOUR) was not carried out. The evidence for this is the cancellation of the Shenzhen concert.
• Until the end of the year in 2009, JYJ participated in activities of their choice, and ignored the opinions of the 2 members of TVXQ.
• Though JYJ made it seem like they were working to carry out activities as TVXQ on the outside, this is not true.
• JYJ interfered with the Japanese activities of the 2 members of TVXQ by requesting that AVEX end their business relationship with SM and sign a contract with CJES.

JYJ’s stance

(1) In the contract between SM and JYJ, there are many unfair and unlawful clauses.

• 13-year long-term contract
• Exploitation of authority regarding compensation of damages
• Unfair income distribution
• The point of this lawsuit is to make the entire contract with such clauses completely invalid.

(2) There have been previous instances of an unlawful contract between an agency and a celebrity.

(3) Even if the contract is not nullified, JYJ cannot be charged for non-fulfillment of their obligations. They have always carried out the schedules give to them.

(4) Crebeau is nothing more than an investment.

• There exists no clause in the contract that prohibits the celebrity from investing in other businesses.
• There has never been an instance where JYJ’s activities were hindered by their investment in Crebeau.

3. Question and Answer Session with the Judge

(1) Income Distribution
Judge: Did SM give JYJ more money and conditions better than those originally stated in the contract?
SM: Yes. In reality, SM distributed the income to JYJ more favorably than what the contract states.
Judge: Doesn’t that imply that SM has acknowledged that the clause in the contract is unfit to be carried out?
SM: That is not so. Compared to the clauses of other agencies, SM provided JYJ with the best possible income distribution percentages. There were instances where SM covered expenses that JYJ were supposed to pay. However, this does mean that SM’s clause is unreasonable.
Judge: We have to know the exact details of such adjustments. But right now, SM is stating that ‘Though we had nothing more to give, we gave them more than we intended to.’
SM: Though the contract was created on the basis of an ordinary celebrity, it can be changed to fit the unique aspects of each celebrity. We are not saying that we gave them more money because the contract was unfair.
Judge: Are you not saying that according to your account adjustments, you ‘Gave them more when there was no more to give’? Is it not normal for there to be no money left over to give to JYJ after all the money has been distributed?
SM: That is not so.
Judge: So are you saying that there is money that is left over?
SM: Yes.
(T/N: What the judge is trying to ask is, if SM is paying for all these extra expenses and such, which add up to quite an enormous amount which doesn’t give room for profit to be left over, should they have any profit left to give JYJ extra money? The money doesn’t add up if SM was really able to pay for all these expenses while paying JYJ more than what they should have been given.)

(2) TVXQ’s activities
Judge: Are the two members performing activities as TVXQ?
SM: In reality, they have not been able to do so.
Judge: Didn’t the 2 members participate in overseas activities as TVXQ? (T/N: He’s referring to the SM Town Live ’10 performances)
SM: That was their first official activity as TVXQ since this case began.
Judge: Have the three members moved to a new agency?
JYJ: No.
SM: This is contrary to what we now. CJES is currently supporting JYJ’s activities. This is a fact widely known and accepted in the industry.

(3) Applying for witnesses
Judge: Are there any witnesses for this hearing?
SM:

• SM employee Kang Jung Ah : Witness to testify that the exclusive contract is not unlawful
  *Kang Jung Ah is a staff member who was there when the contract was signed between JYJ and SM
• Head of SM’s Finance Team Yoon Sung Hee : Witness to testify that the income distribution is fair

JYJ: SM employee Kang Jung Ah is unfit to be a witness. At the time when the contract was signed, JYJ were minors. We are asking for the contract to be nullified because the content of the contract is unlawful, not because the contract wasn’t signed to begin with.
SM: It is important to know what the atmosphere and situation was like, and what was explained to JYJ when the contract was signed.
Judge: A interrogation of witnesses is necessary to judge the general content of the case. Therefore, Kang Jung Ah and Yoon Sung Hee will be noted down as witnesses. Are there any other witnesses?
SM: SM Japan Director Nam So Young
Judge: How are Crebeau and Japan related?
SM: The problem regarding Crebeau was first brought up in Japan. Japanese fans reported that JYJ were promoting Crebeau cosmetics during their Japanese tour.

• SM Japan Director Nam So Young : Witness to testify that cosmetics were sold during the Japanese tour

Judge: Has SM not already submitted evidence regarding that problem? I happen to know that SM has even had media coverage done on the issue. And even if Director Nam So Young testifies, she is not the person who can present exact information regarding the content of JYJ’s investment in Crebeau.
SM: AVEX representative (not chosen yet) : Witness to testify the importance of a long-term contract

• The witness will testify that when AVEX and SM first signed the contract together, it was decided that a 13-year contract was necessary.
• The witness will testify what JYJ did after the injunction to sever the ties between AVEX and SM.

JYJ: Why is SM trying to talk about what happened after the injunction?
SM: The reason SM is talking about what happened after the injunction is because CJES attempted to sever the ties between SM and AVEX and inflict financial losses.
JYJ: The case that SM has presented wishes to verify the validity of the contract and charge JYJ for non-fulfillment of their obligations. SM also calls for compensation of losses from JYJ regarding this.

• Then what exactly did JYJ do to SM to justify this charge of non-fulfillment of their obligations? Please be specific.
• The problem will be difficult to assess if SM states that everything JYJ did was a problem.
• Fans have been showing much attention to this case and JYJ. The fans’ attention is a great asset to JYJ. SM is doing nothing but purely attacking and criticizing JYJ in an open court. That will benefit neither side.

SM: We admit that SM hasn’t been able to explain in detail JYJ’s non-fulfillment of their obligations. The reason SM needs AVEX’s testimony is because it is proof that a 13-year contract is valid and necessary in the current Japanese music market.
Judge: Kang Jung Ah and Yoon Sung Hee will be noted down as witnesses. Will JYJ be calling in any witnesses?
JYJ: No.

(5) The formal objection filed by SM to the verdict of the injunction
JYJ:

• After the verdict was made on the injunction, JYJ was planning on filing a lawsuit requesting the nullification of their contract with SM.
• However, as JYJ are celebrities, their activities come before their disputes. Therefore, they chose to partake in activities in the entertainment industry before filing the nullification lawsuit.
• That is when SM filed a lawsuit to verify the continued validity of the contract between SM and JYJ.
• As SM filed a lawsuit verifying the continued validity of the contract before JYJ filed their lawsuit nullifying the contract between SM and JYJ, we did not file a lawsuit pertaining to this issue. As two lawsuits may have ensued with repeated content.
• JYJ requested materials pertaining to their activities from SM. However, there are documents that JYJ have not received.
• SM states that JYJ did not come to retrieve the documents themselves, but that is not true. SM manages all its celebrities together. Therefore, there is no separate section where the TVXQ-related documents are located. SM basically told us that everything’s in their office, so we must find all the information ourselves. However, this is an issue that requires the hiring of an accountant to solve and is very costly. That is why we wish for SM to sort through and hand over the files.
• We have done an investigation into whether the income was distributed correctly according to the files given to JYJ by SM. There were additional files that we required from SM. However, the date of the lawsuit was changed. And SM filed a formal objection to the verdict of the injunction. Even though JYJ and Baek Chang Joo have not signed an exclusive contract, SM began a dispute solely based on their belief that an exclusive contract does exist between the two parties. Due to all these happening, which complicated matters, JYJ have not been able to carry out their investigation calmly.

We want to know if JYJ can look us in the eye and talk about these four claims in court.
JYJ: We do not know if this is reasonable. However, if SM wants this interrogation, we can try to convince JYJ to appear in court.
Judge: This matter will be discussed by the department of justice.

The reason JYJ’s stance is short and concise
The main issue here is the unlawful contract but SM’s lawyers have brought up the cosmetics company to change the subject of controversy and dull the judge’s judgment. JYJ’s lawyer concisely stated his main points so the judge didn’t have doubts or attacks on what was stated. “Lyric writing. Composing. Singing. Acting. I want to do it all properly.”

(Seoul=Yeonhap News) Reporter Yoon Go Eun = “For the first time since my debut, I feel greedy about my work. Till now, the feeling of being pulled this way and that was strong, but now I feel like I am the one doing my work and I really want to do well.”

This is what JYJ’s Micky Yoochun(24), who successfully debuted as an actor through the drama ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’, said recently in his interview with Yeonhap News as he showed his fired up ambitions for future activities in the entertainment industry.

When asked ‘Where is the limit to your talents?’, as he has branched out from writing lyrics, composing and singing to acting, he stated that, “I’m doing this and that but I don’t have anything that I’ve properly made my mark in. Although it would be nice to do so in all four fields at the same time, that’s hard to accomplish so I want to slowly make my mark one by one. I want to excel in all four of those fields.”

With JYJ’s showcases overlapping with the final leg of filming for ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’, he had to accommodate himself to a superhuman schedule. He properly experienced how hard it is to juggle singing and acting at the same time.

“I had to practice the choreography for the showcase on the set of ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ in HyangGyo, Jeonju. Because I had no time to drive up to Seoul, the team had to drive down and practice the moves with me in between filming when I had time off. It was really tiring. I had to learn the choreography for three songs in two days. So I wasn’t confident at all when it came time for me to stand on stage during the showcase. Phew… I don’t even remember how it went. I think if two big things overlap like that in the future, I wouldn’t be able to do it again. I think I have to be careful on how I modify my schedule.”

Micky Yoochun, who lived in Virginia from Grade 6 to 11 until he moved back to Korea, became Asia’s top star as a member of TVXQ. However, when he gave up the name of TVXQ last year and created JYJ with YoungWoong Jaejoong and Xiah Junsu, he experienced a great deal of change and stress from his decision and he still doesn’t feel fully freed from the decision.

“Nowadays, it’s gotten much better but when it first began, I was so stressed that I could barely sleep. I was so stressed that I couldn’t remember the last time my heart had felt at ease. However, I think it’s best if I see the situation from both sides. I absolutely do not regret the decision that I made. Though I do get stressed and I have many things to worry about, I’m happy because I’ve begun to feel greedy about my work.”

Regarding JYJ, the name of the new group he formed, he stated that, “Yes, we all had thoughts of creating a better and cooler name, but we felt there was no need to be extravagant when it came to starting afresh.”

JYJ was created by taking the initials of the members’ names in English.

JYJ recently release their worldwide album ‘The Beginning’ and began promoting it through various activities. This album, which famous US producers Kanye West and Rodney Jerkins participated in, holds a total of eight tracks included an intro piece.

“Though this may sound cliche, we filled this album with music that we really wanted to make. While working on the album, I was able to feel that Kanye West is definitely a worldwide star, and I could see just how much effort and preparation he put into his work even when no one was watching. Rodney Jerkins doesn’t feel like an American. He has a defined Oriental mind, and he knows exactly what he’s good at and what his strong points are.”

Before their album debut, JYJ graced the front cover of the US Billboard magazine. Though it was advertisement they had to pay for, it wasn’t advertisement that anyone could do.

“It was so cool to see ourselves on the cover of Billboard magazine. It’s a magazine I had always read when I was in the US, and to see us on it, and to see an introduction of us when we visited the Billboard homepage made me feel happy and proud.”

Micky Yoochun stated, “There are many things I have to do and want to do in the future,” and “I will work hard with a happy and thankful heart.”

The pre-sale tickets of JYJ (Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu) first concert are sold one after another.

The reservation website Interpark stated, “On the 22th starting at 8 pm we held the pre-sale tickets of JYJ first concert ‘JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul’, and all 20,000 tickets in this 2nd round sale are sold out quickly.”

Interpark official added, “On last 19th we released first round ticket sales with 20,000 tickets sold out, and this 2nd round had all the tickets sold out in even faster rate. We will prepare to conduct the 3rd round ticket as soon as possible.”

JYJ is holding their first concert in Jamsil Olympic Stadium for two days in following November 27th – 28th at 19:00 with two consecutive performances. The concert is to commemorate the release of JYJ first worldwide album ‘The Beginning’ that was out on last 12th.

There are 9 cities in 6 countries spread out from their current world tour showcase, and the concert will feature 18 songs to audiences, where the members’ unreleased self composed songs are going to be released as well.

Meanwhile, JYJ first worldwide album ‘The Beginning’ that was released on the 12th drew a lot of attention as it’s featured in U.S Billboard ‘Popular Music’. ‘The Beginning’ reached 520,000 mark sales in South Korea while in other countries where the album dropped in such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Taiwan, it’s also getting good responses.

JYJ (Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu) will hold their Worldwide Concert ‘JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul’ for two days on November 27 and 28 at Jamsil Stadium.

JYJ representative on the 18th revealed, “The concert will be under direction of Jeri Slaughter who formerly directed concerts of world’s top pop artists such as Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, and Christina Aguilera. A world-class live performance South Korea has never experienced will exist through JYJ’s concert.”

TVXQ members Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu, who formed a male trio JYJ, finally stood in front of their Korean fans for the first time.

At 9PM on the 12th, JYJ held their 「JYJ Worldwide Showcase」 in Hwajeong Gymnasium, Korea University, Anam-dong, Seoul, and showed off their bright and confident images.

On that day, it was the first public exhibit of JYJ’s first worldwide album 「The Beginning」, which the trio had worked together with famous American producers Kanye West and Rodney Jerkins. – How do you feel, standing on the stage after such a long time?

JJ: Completely grateful. This is the first time we recorded an album in which the songs are all in English, so it might be unfamiliar, but as the fans are familiar with our voices, I hope they’ll listen to it well. As we spent a lot of time preparing for this album, I hope that the fans will enjoy it with all their hearts.

– This is JYJ’s first album. Are there any new feelings?

JS: The album and our music are our means of communication with the fans, so I worried a lot. Through our fans’ support, we were able to release the album without any problems, so I’m really happy.

– The producers involved in this album are very famous people.

YC: I’m really happy to have been able to work with such famous people that I’ve only heard about when I was living in the United States during my childhood. The recording also has special sentimental value because the recording studio that we used also had connections to Michael Jackson.

– In June, after the LIVE in Japan’s Tokyo Dome, Jaejoong cried as he came down the stage.

JJ: Before we did the performances at the Tokyo Dome, we also had a round of LIVES at Osaka. In Osaka, I started crying from the very first song. All the things that we couldn’t express in words were expressed through our expressions. After we sang the last song at the Tokyo Dome, the fans started shouting “Don’t cry”, and that was when the tears came. It wasn’t for the past nor the future; those tears were to express the sadness (I felt) for the present situation.

– Are there any idols among the Korean idols that have caught your eye?

YC: I’ve been really busy lately so I haven’t really been watching TV. Although I’ve only heard their song and not seen them on TV, it seems like Miss A surpasses (the rest) in terms of ability.

– Your resolution henceforth.

YC: We were able to hold mics and stand on stage, as well as meet our fans again. From now on when we release a second album, or when we release albums in future, I hope that people will have the thought of always wanting to listen to our songs. I’m really happy that I’ve been so busy during this period of time. I would be happy if it’s the same in future.

The popularity of TVXQ Trio Unit JYJ has not yet to die.

On October 12th the afternoon, JYJ opened their world tour showcase ‘JYJ Worldwide Showcase in Seoul’ to commemorate their first world wide album ‘The Beginning’ at Korea University Hwajung Gymnasium in Anam-dong Seongbuk-Gu, Seoul.

The performance was conducted in two rounds, at 18:00 and 21:00, while around 10,000 showcase tickets were sold out in 15 minutes during the advanced ticket sales. JYJ PR official said, “At first round performance there were 6000 audiences, and second round had 5000 audiences, so there are total 11,000 audiences who visited the showcase area.”

Even before the performance started, fans were already flocking the venue area. There were even fans who came from Japan. Those fans seemed to go queue-ing for showcase entrance right after they took off from their flight since they’re still carrying around travel trunk. The fans commented, “We visited Korea only to see the TVXQ trio,” and “We’re expecting a lot from the official stage of the three members in Korea after a long time.” as they smiled brightly.

TVXQ’s trademark pearl red balloons, posters, and more fan chant support merchandises were spread everywhere catching people’s eyes.

The showcase features JYJ new songs such as ‘EMPTY’, ‘BE THE ONE’, ‘BE MY GIRL’, ‘AYYY GIRL’, and the new song from KBS 2TV drama ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ soundtrack ‘Chajatta’.

Some of the proceeds of this showcase’s ticket sales will be donated to private international organization ‘World Vision’ that is going to be passed further to fight against child poverty around the globe.
