This is before the group have confirmed on the name SHINee, Onew and Jonghyun already recorded this song in a duet form, and planned on using this song in their debut album…… At that time the rap section used Minho’s smooth rap….. Attractive rap……@______@
But it didn’t fit the overall image of the album, so they planned on having it released in a single format

However the grouping suddenly changed, the confirmed it would be TVXQ’s Xiah Junsu, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, and SHINee’s Jonghyun to perform this as a trio……
They finished recording this song~ And um…… the trio’s voice blended well~ very attractive~

BUT!! 2 month before the album was to be release, Junsu declared to leave the group……

So after a very long time, this group changed to include new members Jay and Jino to perform…… this became “Miss You”

Korean hallyu stars have gathered up to send their beloved stuff for charity auction. The Korean actors and actresses such as Kim Rae Won, Jo Hyun Jae, Lee Da Hae, Lee Jun Ki, Lee Min Ho, Gong Yoo, Ha Jung Woo, Kim Sun Ah and idol singers Super Junior,So Nyeo Shi Dae, Brown Eyed Girls, TVXQ! along with 130 Korean artists will give their private stuff for charity auction in Thailand for ‘KOREA FESTIVAL 2010′ in 30 Nov- 5 Dec at Esplanade Cineplex Ngamwongwan-Khearai to commemorate the 60th year of Thai soldiers who joined the Korean War 6.25.

The auction money will be given to those 3,00,000 people who suffered from the flood. The project is a collaborate between Thai-Korean embassy and KTCC (Korea Thailand Communication Center) with the support form Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand to organize this event to promote the Korean fever in Thailand

[NEWS] 100924 K-POP Dream Concert to be shown in theaters across Japan

With the second booming of the Hallyu wave taking over Japan, Korea’s biggest music festival, “Dream Concert,” will be shown in Japanese theaters in November.

“Dream Concert” began in 1995 and has managed to attract a 70,000 member audience each year. Footage of the “Dream Concert” festivals will be shown as a movie titled ‘K-POP DREAM CONCERT – History 07~09‘ starting from November 13th. The movie will begin showing in Hokkaido and move on to Fukuoka in a total of 32 different theaters.

Performances of TVXQ, SS501, Super Junior, SHINee, 2AM, SNSD, Wonder Girls, KARA, 4minute, 2NE1 and other popular artists will be shown on the big screen.

More recent footage of the Dream Concerts titled ‘K-POP DREAM CONCERT – New Generation 10′ is also scheduled to be shown in Japanese theaters in January of 2011 as well.

[NEWS] Hangeng plagiarized Yunho’s Checkmate for his new single?

Hangeng’s (in Korean, Hankyung) very new Chinese single,Fire has recently fallen into plagiarism accusations to aK-pop song, written and sung and choreographed by his former SM-mate, Yunho of TVXQ.

Hangeng recently released the music video for Fire through Youtube, and the viewers couldn’t help but to notice strikingly similar features with Yunho’s self-written song, titled Checkmate. Some netizens emphasized the similarities by commenting,“Besides the fact that the lyrics are in different languages, the song is completely the same,” “Not only is the whole melody similar, but the songs’ introductions are entirely too identical,” etc.

Yunho’s Checkmate has never been performed on air, but was enlisted as one of tracks in TVXQ’s album MIROTIC. The song was revealed and performed publicly in February 20th, 2009 at TVXQ’s Asia Tour Councert MIROTIC, where all members ofSuper Junior attended to join the celebration.
