◆SM States “JYJ-CJeS Exclusive Contract is Invalid
5 member group TVXQ, who appear to be walking down the same path as the epitome of idol groups, HOT, has been swept up in a dual contract controversy.

With JYJ’s debut album on the verge of being released offline, TVXQ’s agency SM Entertainment revealed on the 13th that, “There is a possibility that the current series of events may lead to another legal dispute,” and “We filed an injunction to the Courts on the 8th to stop all sales of their album.”

SM revealed that, “We filed an exclusive contract suspension and album sales prohibition injunction to the Seoul District Courts against JYJ (Kim Junsu and two others) and CJeS Entertainment (CEO Baek Chang Joo),” and “JYJ’s actions of signing a dual exclusive contract with CJeS Entertainment, even though the verdict has not been made on the lawsuit involving their current and still valid exclusive contract, they are violating the primal purpose of the verdict laid down last October regarding their injunction.”

SM added that, “It has been clearly revealed that the contract between CJeS Entertainment and JYJ is a dual contract. By releasing their albums through CJeS Entertainment, there is a high possibility that this may lead into an unexpected third party legal dispute with for example, the album distribution company, depending on the verdict laid down on the lawsuit regarding the validity of their current exclusive contract.”

Jung Yunho is the interpreter of new generation, with mentality and spirit of youth, he is walking at forefront of time, to encounter the beauty of present and future.

What's the most memorable event in your life?
My most memorable event, I believe was when I become a singer. At that moment I really felt fantastic. The first moment I stepped on stage, the first performance, those situations were vividly remembered till now. Everyone was crying out my name, I became the protagonist on stage. In fact, it was a very incredible thing to me. I believe I will never ever forget this first time in my life.

You are going to perform in musical, what do you think of it?
It seems to me a new world has arrived. Now I am preparing for musical adaptation of 'Goong' from drama version. Although it is also a performance on stage, but I can feel a big difference from standing on stage as a singer. Musical performances not only singing, but also need to practice dancing, and learn acting skills. It is a performance which mixes songs, dance and acting together. In order to show everyone my best appearance and attitude, I am now practicing hard, so please come and support my transformation into a musical actor, .

What kind of requirements do you think a charming man should have? Do you think you are a charming man?
The most important requirements for a charming man is talk less and more action. The men who can properly preserve and protect something which is valuable to them, this kind of men is attractive. It seems hard to assess myself! I don't know whether I did well or not, but only know I have to work hard continuously and do well in my part.

What are your recent plans? What's your impression of Hong Kong?
I am currently busy preparing for musical 'Goong' which will begin in September. Since I can perform with experienced actors, I have learned a lot from them. Besides that, I have to go to Japan to promote my drama 'HTTG' and DVD. Since there are a lot of promotions and public related activities, I often need to go back and forth between Japan and South Korea and become very busy. HTTG's DVD ranked no.1 on Japan's Oricon Chart, I totally suprised by everyone's love and support... SMTOWN will start a world tour in August, so I am now preparing for it. I hope to meet everyone with a fresher and better look later, so please continue to love me.
About my impression of Hong Kong, I think Hong Kong is a gracious and convenient place. This time I come here for cover shoot, many fans are following me, and waiting for me at the airport, I fully feel their enthusiasm and support. I love the night view of Hong Kong, and the food is very delicious too, so every time I come to Hong Kong I can fully enjoy it before I go back.

What type of girls do you like?
I like girls who have lively and cheerful personality, as well as can take care of the others, and being confident, and can give me good advices oftenly.

Before their activities in the form of a new group, Junsu, Jejung, and Yuchun, who still had many anxieties in their hearts, each chose their favorite places to go on vacation as means of adjustment of their mentalities and to continuing working hard with a brand new face and attitude. The happenings during the vacations have been turned into images for release~ this is place for the first exclusive release!



Junsu - passionately singing on his dream stage

Although it was said to be a secret trip to Sydney, stepping off the plane, there were still fans, who managed to get a hold of the information, waiting inside the airport for them. The number of fans who knew about the news increased daily, and it seemed as if they were surrounding the hotel Junsu was staying in. The shooting for the immensely popular Junsu went like this: whether in the hotel, in the outskirts, or on the way for some sightseeing, he continually hummed songs. His blazing passion for music allowed the staff around to deeply sense it. Later on, when Junsu stood on his long-time dream stage, the Sydney Opera House, and sang beautifully graceful songs, the staff at the scene could only applaud loudly, their cheers causing the whole opera house bubble with exuberance. Debuting in the musical production of "Mozart!" in Korea, his performance received the praise of many professionals in the industry. During the 4th "The Musical Awards", he successfully earned the Best Male Newcomer Award as well as the Popularity Award.



Jejung - the world of minus 20°

Riding on a 2-hour domestic flight from Vancouver, Canada, Jejung arrived at the silver world of minus 20°. The place he went to was a small town of around 20 000 people, White House. A place famous for being able to see polar lights, the warm Jejung surprisingly wanted to challenge cross-country skiing, a very extreme winter sport, and also tried dog-sledding 2km in a week. The staff around, however, were freezing to the point of being ice blocks. The shooting wasn't exactly a one-time deal, so when the staff asked for "one more time", the other staff would noisily object and go back into the cabins, but only Jejung, despite the fact that tip of his eyelashes had accumulated a thick layer of ice, would just smile and continue race toward the coldness~



Yuchun - reminiscing his homeland

The place Yuchun wanted to shoot was Seoul, Korea. He started his 5 years of living in America when he was 12, so he has special feelings towards his homeland. After trying out Loach soup, hand holding an old-fashioned camera he got from a second-hand market and arriving at Bukchon Hanok Village, which still holds onto the remains of traditional Korea, contrary to the easily shy Yuchun that everyone knows, he was extremely relaxed and had a warm expression on his face. The shooting on the streets of Seoul seemed influenced by the brightly-lit building nightlights. Although breathing out white breath, his eyes were shining and emitting light.

[TRANS] 100628 TVXQ Trio File Lawsuit For Exclusive Contract

Three members of 'TVXQ' have filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment following their exclusive contract injunction.

According to the Seoul District Courts, Xiah Junsu (Kim Junsu), Micky Yoochun (Park Yoochun) and YoungWoong Jaejoong (Kim Jaejoong) filed an exclusive contract validity suspension lawsuit on the 25th.

Sejong, the law firm in charge of the trio's legal actions, stated, "The exclusive contract period is thirteen years from the date they debuted, however, if military service is taken into consideration, the length of the contract is in fact fifteen years," and "This violates Clause 103 of the civil code." Clause 103 of the civil code states that any legal acts that violate good customs or public order will become invalid. Sejong also stated, "If the contract is canceled, the members must pay an extravagant compensation fee that is three times the amount of total investments and twice the amount of what the group would have earned in the remaining period of the contract."

The trio submitted an exclusive contract suspension injunction last July which was partially granted in October. SM Entertainment also filed an objection to the partial acceptance verdict and a lawsuit to confirm the continued validity of the exclusive contract in April.

Exclusive pictures from the Japan-Korea collaborative drama “Heaven’s Postman”, which was Jejung's acting debut, have been released! Jejung plays a postman who lies to those who have lost their loved ones, and providing whispers of happiness to them.

This show was created by the famous Japanese scriptwriters, starring a popular Korean actors and actress, and is one of the Japan-Korea collaboration projects for “Telecinema 7.” Director of the popular “Halfway” (starring Kitano Kie and Okada Masaki) directs the screenplay written by Eriko Kitagawa, and co-stars Han Hyo Joo, who also starred in the hit drama "Brilliant Legacy", which enjoyed ratings(in Korea) as high as 47.1%.

The story is about “Heaven’s Postman” Jae Joon, who has a strong link to the dead, yet cannot be seen, who meets Ha Na. Jae Joon’s work slowly helps to heal her broken heart , and the story describes a search for the route of rebirth. This time, the exclusive photos from Jejung express a situation where, while helping those who are grieving and need help using unconditional love, there is no one to heal yourself.

Telecinema 7 was aired in Korea in November last year. Aside from “Heaven’s Postman”, and popular group BIG BANG’s T.O.P and V.I.’s acting debut in “19”, Osaki Masaya’s ( Scriptwriter of “Hitoshi Tadano, the Extraordinary Undercover Detective”) “Triangle”, “A Dream Comes True”, “Paradise”, “After the Banquet” and “The Relation of Face, Mind & Love” make up the remaining 6 stories.

Telecinema 7’s collection of 7 stories (Including Heaven’s Postman) will be released by Toho Co. Ltd throughout Japan on the 29th of May.
