[TRANS] 100416 Micky Yoochun Shakes The Best Seller Charts
The original novel 'The Lives of Sungkyunkwan Confucian Scholars' of the drama 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal', of which TVXQ's Micky Yoochun was cast in, is garnering attention once again.
The first and second novels of 'The Lives of Sungkyunkwan Confucian Scholars', which were released in July of last year, have reentered the Best Seller Charts as 11th and 19th place respectively. The novels pleasantly depict the love lives of the youth of Sungkyunkwan during the Tang Dynasty.

[TRANS] 100416 TVXQ Passes The Million Mark In Japan
Although TVXQ has paused activities in both Korea and Japan, the group's power in the music industry doesn't seem to have the slightest inclination to stop. With the three music albums they released this year, they have surpassed the million mark (selling one million copies) in just three months.
According to the Oricon Charts, Japan's most prestigious album sales charts, TVXQ's 30th single 'Toki Wo Tomete', that was released on March 24th, has sold 209,063 copies in March. Also, they have sold over 20,000 copies so far this month as well.
This means that TVXQ has surpassed the million mark with just three albums that were released this year.
TVXQ's 29th single 'BREAK OUT', which was released on January 27th, sold 255,917 copies in just four days and sold 29,239 copies in February. This means that the total sales for 'BREAK OUT' till February were 285,156 copies.
Also, their Japanese Best Album 'Best Selection 2010', which was released on February 17th, sold 459,796 copies in February and 56,991 copies in March. Therefore, the total sales till March for 'Best Selection 2010' were 516,787 copies.
With these two singles and one album in Japan, TVXQ has sold over a total of 1.03 million copies of their newest albums.

[TRANS] 100416 Tohoshinki’s New Unit Worsens Relationship Between Avex And Korean Management Agencies?
Tohoshinki’s Jejung, Junsu and Yuchun announced on the 14th that they have a new exclusive contract with Avex Management, and also started activities under this new unit. Because of this, in Korea, the relationship between Avex Management and Tohoshinki’s Korean management company has shown signs of deterioration.
Avex is one of the leading Management Agencies in Japan, with many popular artistes such as Namie Amuro and Koda Kumi under them. Before Tohoshinki, they had helped BoA break into the Japanese Market, and an alliance with SM Entertainment was formed. To the Korean media, the signing of Avex’s contract with the 3 members has led to speculation that Avex may want to cut off all ties with them (SM Entertainment).
SM Entertainment denies these allegations, and according to a representative, both companies still have strategic partnerships that have remained unchanged. SM Entertainment’s BoA is still managed by Avex Management in Japan, and SM Entertainment says that they working on the promotions for Avex Management’s ICONIQUE as well.
On the other hand, there were also reports saying that Avex’s attitude is “dishonest”. The contract with the 3 members for the new unit has shown a choice of utility over SM Entertainment’s trust. Korean Media also reports that this may have something to do with the fact that Avex is currently in a business slump.

At the studio location for the filming of a Japanese TV show, a huge crowd of fans gathered there just to catch a glimpse of Jaejoong, garnering attention from the media.
On the 14th yesterday, FujiTV broadcasted the programme "Waratte Iitomo" and fans who heard that Jaejoong will be appearing, gathered outside the studio in big groups, to the extent that the number of people in the crowd was uncountable, as revealed through the picture.
