[NEWS] AKB48′s Atsuko Maeda expresses interest in TVXQ’s Yunho

With the recent comeback of TVXQ in Japan with the release of the Japanese version of “Why (Keep Your Head Down)”, they seem to be gaining interest among even Japanese celebrities themselves. In their recent appearance on Music Station, they conversed with KAT-TUN over ramen. Recently, AKB48′s Atsuko Maeda expressed having an interest in Yunho.

On the 18th, during Atsuko’s participation in the First Trading Card promotional event, when asked what her burden is now that she’s 18, her response was, “I want to be in love.” She then shyly said, “The type I like is a guy who is tall and has a fresh look. TVXQ’s Yunho looks so handsome!”

[TRANS] 100616 “I Want To Express My Own Style”- Tohoshinki’s Yunho

Starting from 8 September, the musical “Goong” will begin its run. A press conference for this musical was held at the Imperial Palace Hotel on the afternoon of the 16 June.

Yunho, who plays the role of the crown prince Lee Shin, spoke with ambition, saying “I’ve seen both the manga and drama versions of “Goong,” but creatively, musicals are a different genre, so I want to express my own style.”

“Since this is the first time I’m challenging a musical, there is pressure, but more than that, I am enjoying and anticipating it,” said Yunho. “Musicals are a combination of dancing, singing and acting put together as one to express emotions, and this is its charm. Personally, I enjoyed “Goong” a lot, so I thought this would be a good opportunity,” he said, explaining why he decided to take up this role.

Also casted for the role of Lee Shin are actor Kim Dong Ho and singer RUN, and the role of Crown Princess Shin Chae Kyung will be played by Gwak Seon Young and Shin Ui Jung.
