JYJ withdrew from TVXQ, Yoo Soyoung withdrew from After School, Jo Min Ah withdrew from Jewelry, and recently Sun Mi withdrew from Wonder Girls, these people have been decorating internet search engines as if they make a comeback and become highly popular internet stars.
These stars are called ‘Taltoedol’ among netizens, even though they’re hardly seen to appear in public, yet they’ve always become hot topic around internet.
In JYJ case, the reason of them to receive a lot of attention from netizens is due to the huge thirst of JYJ fans to see their idols.
Ever since Xiah Junsu, Micky Yoochun, and Youngwoong Jaejoong withdrew from the top Halyu wave group TVXQ and formed JYJ, they have earnestly started activities for their first album ‘The Beginning’ starting last month on the 12th. However, Korean Federation of Pop Culture and Arts Industry (KFPCAI) stated negative opinion about the activities as they sent letters to local broadcasters and cable TV, advised them to refrain from doing distribution of the group’s appearances, generally disrupted all scheduled activities.
Due to this conflict and friction, not only the members are not able to appear on various music chart programs, but they’re also known to have difficulties in proceeding even official activities. Therefore for fans to actually see them is not an easy task at all. Although at least member Micky Yoochun filled the emptiness by appearing on KBS 2TV drama ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’.
The fans of missing JYJ hence try to find any issues about the members from the group’s international activities to members’ daily life all over internet, the only source available since local broadcasters hardly broadcast any news about them.
