The chart is based on album, single, digital single sales. The word 23 EA, 31 EA, etc means there is that many amount of different albums/singles that goes into the counting of respective artists–for instance if people still buy Super Junior’s ‘Sorry Sorry’ or SNSD’s ‘Gee’ this year, the sales still counts in. Meaning, JYJ is able to make it the top 5 with only 2 albums/singles, not mention they released their works the earliest only 2-3 months ago.

We’ll see if our 3 boys are able to stick on the chart til the end of the year
